Raw materials are chosen from all over the globe with great attention to detail; a habit inherited from the founder of Risenta, who, already in the 1940s, made regular trips around the world in order to personally guarantee top quality ingredients. Today, the third generation owner, CEO Alex Tengvall, and his team of 20 employees, carry on this tradition using modern methods.

Risenta's mission is to be a constant source of inspiration, encouraging people to combine natural basic ingredients to create delicious tastes and textures. Our very own health chef, Jacob Wismar, connects regularly with many of customers, sharing with them a steady stream of unique recipes and tips.

BRC certification

At Risenta, equally as important as demanding the highest standards for our products is our monitoring of production sites, suppliers and partners with whom we conduct business. As evidence of our continual commitment, we have achieved the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety certification.

The Standard specifies requirements to be met when implementing HACCP systems, management systems for quality assurance, requirements for the site's environment, for control and management of products, processes and employees, as well as the individual regulations and industry sector requirements.

We also strive to ensure our suppliers operate in accordance with Fairtrade Standards, i.e. conform to ILO (International Labour Organization) Standards, have a policy prohibiting child labour and observe a well-defined set of ethical standards.
